A private detached Gite, in owner’s pretty wooded river garden, there is no problem parkin. At the moment it has been converted into a Studio and will sleep 2 people. Ideal position for en-route travel/short breaks/house hunting/fishing holiday/honeymoon or just lazing around! .The river Ternoise runs along the bottom of the garden for approximately one hundred metres.
The Gite’s ground floor accommodation comprises:- kitchen area with 2 ring electric hob, fridge, microwave, mini oven, sink and drainer. Enclosed toilet and hand wash basin, separate shower, spacious living area with double sofa bed, table and two chairs, coffee table, There is electric wall heaters (a small charge if needs be). Double glazed doors onto spacious patio, linen is provided and a welcome pack to get you started.
Anvin town centre is close by, an easy walkable distance, providing all local facilities such as shopping, a well stocked Supermarket, also a butcher, baker, café/pub, chemist, post office and ATM etc. We also have a Dental Surgery and Doctors Surgery.
The three main shopping market towns are St.Pol, Hesdin and Fruges provide access to shopping, restaurants etc. Each of these towns have their own market days and they are well attended.
Anvin is 1hour20mins approximately from Calais ferry and Eurotunnel motorway N26 to junction 5. Then driving approximately 14 miles South West to Anvin. It is also the same amount of time from Boulogne, Speedferry, driving South East to Montreuil to Hesdin and then to Anvin. The Region borders the 7 Valleys and Picardy. Local amenities include: Fishing, horse riding, country walks and pursuits, how rural England used to be!
Breakfast can be available if required, but please no pets. The owners, Mr and Mrs Cronin are a quiet retired British couple who live in the main house separately from the Gite, and will be happy to help you have a relaxing stay.
